as a lone writer for local and international projects.

Pamela has implemented documentation solutions for a number of companies.
At Honda Canada, she led the online documentation effort of Honda’s globally introduced, enterprise–wide system that integrated the business processes of the company. This system would be implemented throughout the other global plants. The results of that project led to her training all of Honda Canada's IS staff in documentation standards, logical content flow, usability, and efficient layout and design.
At Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, as the department’s senior english editor, she was part of a team that implemented plain language practices and editorial standards across the department. As a communications officer, she developed communications strategy for high-profile national and international issues. She was subsequently awarded the Deputy Minister's Outstanding Achievement Award.
Pamela is an avid supporter of students and writers. In 2004, she established an annual bursary at Carleton University.
In addition, she is an instructor in the technical writing program at Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. She has also been a member of the advisory board for several years.
volunteer
Pamela is very active in the technical writing community and the Society for Technical Communication. For several years, she has helped writers find jobs in her role as the Toronto STC's resume and career coach.
Pamela has also volunteered for many other organizations, including the humane society, YMCA literacy program, and Meals on Wheels.

Pamela has an Honours Bachelor of Journalism and is currently completing a Masters of Chemical and Life Science. Pamela also has a Certificate in Information Design (with Distinction). She has several other technical writing, communication, project management, and leadership certifications and memberships.
